OctoberFast

It's amazing how fast this year has gone by. Here it is nearly (just a few hours short of) November. I find myself slightly confused sometimes in even what year this is, let alone the month. I guess that's a function of getting older - we have more total data to process so it's harder to keep track of it all. Reminds me of a cartoon .. kid feeling sorry for the generation a hundred years from now who will have "all this history" to keep track of. That's silly .. but somehow true. It's also a poignant signpost of how illiterate we have allowed ourselves to become.
